ANNOUNCEMENT: MEETING WITH FRENCH URBANIST BRUNO STARIE

12289672_1691461537737391_9090995233464870384_nThe “School of responsible Kyiv citizens” together with the French Institute in Ukraine invites you to participate in the expert lecture on sustainable city development for representatives of Kyiv civic communities.

The French Institute in Ukraine invited the expert on sustainable community development of the Sergy city in France, professor of history and geography Mr.Bruneau STARI, who has been holding a senior role in the sectors of sustainable development and recycling of waste in his city, within the framework of informational activities concerning the Paris Conference of the Parties of the Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 21).

Bruneau Starie holds a degree in geography while being the teacher and Sergy city municipal council deputy since 2001. He was responsible for regulation of urban issues and management of public places (particularly, he was dealing with issues of garbage and green belts).

He was a deputy mayor in 2008-2014. In 2014, he became an adviser on sustainable development.

The audience with have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion at the end of the lecture.
